I’m a highly professional person-centred counsellor with a degree in psycho-dynamic counselling and over 20 years’ experience, using cognitive behavioural and humanistic techniques. I have specialised in supporting those affected by domestic violence and in family therapy. I worked in a women’s centre and have helped clients of all ages and from diverse ethnic backgrounds.

I have also worked for Oxfam, which involved travelling to Africa and supporting communities in desperate need.

A further interest is in money management and advising people on how to organise their finances better so that they can avoid debt and plan for the future.

I initially trained as a nurse and retain a strong interest in health and well being and have also worked with the elderly, assisting them to live independently.
